What it is
Online Retailer Conference and Expo is the largest ecommerce event in Australia. The 2027 edition takes place on July 21 and 22 at ICC Sydney in Darling Harbour, bringing together nearly 4,000 industry peers, 200+ international and Australian speakers and 150+ solution providers.
The All Access pass covers the keynote theatre and 12+ tracks, with topics such as ecommerce optimization, international expansion, AI in retail and social commerce. A separate B2B pass covers B2B ecommerce, and the Show Floor pass includes tech talks, AI workshops and stages for small businesses.
Why it matters for smaller online stores
- It is the biggest single gathering of the Australian ecommerce industry, with both large retailers and small brands.
- The SMB Stage and workshops are aimed at smaller stores, so the content is not only for big budgets.
- Tracks on international expansion are useful for Australian stores going global and for foreign brands entering Australia.
Who should go
- Online stores in Australia and New Zealand of every size
- B2B sellers moving their ordering online
- International brands researching the Australian market
How to get the most out of it
- Choose your pass by goal: Show Floor for tools and quick talks, All Access for the deeper tracks.
- Do not miss the SMB Stage if your team is small. The advice is scaled to your budget.
- Combine it with a visit to Retail Fest AUS in May only if you need both. Most stores pick one per year.
