What it is
Money20/20 Europe calls itself Europe's number one fintech event. The 2027 edition runs from June 8 to 10 at the RAI in Amsterdam. In 2026 it drew 7,500+ attendees from 2,300+ companies in over 105 countries, with 450+ speakers and 375+ sponsors.
Banking, payments, tech, startups, retail, policy, crypto and cybersecurity all meet here. For online stores, the most relevant topics are new payment methods, checkout, fraud prevention and how European regulation is changing payments.
Why it matters for smaller online stores
- Payment fees and failed payments quietly cost online stores a lot. This is the best place in Europe to compare providers.
- European payment habits differ a lot by country. Sessions explain which methods matter where.
- Fraud prevention and identity vendors exhibit side by side, which makes evaluation faster.
Who should go
- Founders and finance leads of stores selling across several EU countries
- Ecommerce managers working on checkout conversion and payment methods
- Teams dealing with fraud, chargebacks or new payment regulation
How to get the most out of it
- Make a list of the payment methods used in your key markets before you go.
- Ask providers for their authorization rates and total fees, not just the headline percentage.
- Book accommodation early. Amsterdam is busy in June and DELIVER Europe runs nearby the week before.
