What it is
eTail Asia is the Asian edition of the eTail conference series and one of the main meeting points for ecommerce and retail leaders in Asia Pacific. The 2027 edition takes place on March 16 and 17 at the Equarius Hotel on Sentosa, Singapore, with more than 500 retail innovators expected.
The audience is senior and hands on: 45% are VP, director or head of level and 18% are in the C-suite or founders, mostly from marketing and ecommerce. Themes for 2027 include the gap between AI adoption and profit, omnichannel transformation and joining up the customer journey. The format mixes keynotes and panels with problem solving roundtables and mastermind sessions.
Why it matters for smaller online stores
- It is the most focused ecommerce leadership event in Southeast Asia, without the noise of a large expo floor.
- Almost a quarter of attending companies have revenue under $10M, so the lessons are not only for giant retailers.
- Roundtables and masterminds let you bring your own problem and hear how peers across Asia solved it.
Who should go
- Brands selling in Southeast Asia or planning to enter the region
- Ecommerce and marketing leads who want to turn AI experiments into results
- Founders who prefer small group discussions over big stages
How to get the most out of it
- Sign up for the roundtables early and pick the one closest to your biggest problem this year.
- Ask peers about marketplaces and payments in each country. Southeast Asia is not one market, and local details matter.
- Stay on Sentosa or near HarbourFront. The island is connected to the city, but traffic at peak times adds up.
