What it is
E-commerce Berlin Expo is the biggest B2B exhibition and conference for ecommerce in Germany and one of the key industry events in Europe. The 11th edition takes place at Messe Berlin on February 17 and 18, 2027, with more than 14,000 visitors, 320 exhibitors and 200 speakers.
The format is a large expo floor with several stages and around 50 masterclasses. Exhibitors cover the whole online store stack: marketplaces such as Kaufland Global Marketplace, payments such as Mollie, onsite search, email marketing, feed management and logistics. Visitors are mostly decision makers from online retail, manufacturing, wholesale and DTC brands.
Why it matters for smaller online stores
- For stores selling in Germany or planning to, it puts marketplaces, payment providers and logistics partners for the DACH market under one roof.
- Entry is free for online stores and brands, so the cost of the trip is mostly travel. That makes it one of the cheapest big events to attend in Europe.
- Masterclasses are short and practical, which suits small teams that want ideas they can apply the following week.
Who should go
- Online stores selling in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, or planning to expand there
- Founders and ecommerce managers comparing tools for payments, search, feeds or shipping
- Brands considering European marketplaces beyond Amazon
How to get the most out of it
- Pre-register early. Free visitor tickets for online stores open before the event and the halls get busy.
- Write down your current stack and its weak spots before you go, then visit only the exhibitors that solve those problems.
- Pick masterclasses over keynotes. They are shorter, more practical and easier to act on.
