How we calculate

No magic, just plain arithmetic you can check yourself. Every term is explained in plain language here.

The basic formula and an example+
Store revenue = visitors × conversion rate × average order value. The calculator simply compares revenue at your current and a higher conversion rate, and keeps everything else the same.
extra revenue/mo = visits × (new − current conversion) × average order value
extra revenue/yr = extra/mo × 12
extra profit/yr = extra revenue/yr × margin
Example (10,000 visits, +0.5 pp)Now 1.5%After 2.0%
Orders / month150200
Revenue / month (× $45)$6,750$9,000
→ a difference of $2,250/mo = $27,000/yr; at a 40% margin that's $10,800 in extra net profit per year.
Percentage point vs. percent, mind the difference+
Lifting conversion from 1.5% to 2.0% is a rise of 0.5 percentage points (pp), but in relative terms that's +33%, a third more orders. That's why even “half a percent” shows up strongly in money. When someone says “we lifted conversion by 30%”, they mean a relative improvement, not a jump to 30%.
What is the conversion rate and where do I find it+
The share of visits that end in an order. If 15 people out of 1,000 visits buy, conversion is 15 ÷ 1,000 = 1.5%. You'll find it in GA4 or your store admin. If you don't know it, switch to “I don't know it” and enter your number of orders, and we'll calculate it.
What is average order value (AOV)+
The average amount of a single order. Add up your monthly revenue and divide by the number of orders. For example, $6,750 ÷ 150 = $45.
Why we keep traffic and order value the same+
So you see the pure effect of conversion. The calculator doesn't assume more ads or pricier orders, only what happens when more people buy from the same number of visits. That's why it's a real, “earned” increase with no bigger budget.
How accurate is this calculator+
It's an estimate, not accounting. It's meant to show you the order of magnitude and that even a small conversion improvement is worth tackling. The real impact depends on your season, your product mix, and which specific barriers you remove.

You know what you can gain. Now find out how.
